So… this time I really let my imagination run WILD,

and turned our beloved Din and Luke into wild animals…🫣

This piece was definitely not on my schedule, and I’m also definitely not good at drawing animals, but this idea just popped into my head and urged me to give it a try to embarrass myself.

Okay, now that you’ve seen it, I’m gonna scream into my pillow… 🛌😱

(As I said, I'm not familiar with drawing animals, fortunately I found this beautiful reference picture when I was struggling with my draft… This pic coincidentally fits the image of Din and Luke and it saved my life!)

Sonic Boom Legend of the Ancients AU Sonic's traveler outfit

Back then, I used to work on an AU telling the tales of the Ancients several years prior to the current events of Sonic Boom, through Sonic's ancestors' POV. It's something Big Red Button didn't have time to develop due to time constraints.

-In this universe, the Ancients would have advanced technology and magical powers somewhat similar to those of Bleach shinigami.

They would live in a large, futuristic, medieval city (destroyed in current events), and Sonic (his Ancient ancestor version) would be a respected, well-known hero.

While playing Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, and after checking the original proof-of-concept trailer and concept art, I internally screamed that all those ideas would go to waste. This spin-off had potential if SEGA hadn't made this deal with Nintendo regarding the Wii U release.

Anyway,

This is a personal project I would have loved to turn into a short comic, though the project is old, and current events prevent me from doing this.

However, I would like to return to it when I can. I will share more infos when I can.

Saber Frost

It's funny because this was the first one I had a sketch of and yet it took three other ponies to get to. But here he is! Tsurugi Kinjo gets the pony treatment too.

Saber Frost is a member of the royal guard (basically MLP military/police/security/body guards for the princesses btw) He's a unicorn, but also part kirin, which is why he has a few kirin traits. His emotions don't seem to affect his physical state as much as the typical kirin, but he does have something of a partial nirik form that comes out rarely. (only if things get really, really out of hand)

Also, when he's experiencing intense emotions, he might start giving off sparks as his hooves start to burn. Wearing horseshoes helps with not setting fires, but he can still be caught leaving singed hoof prints behind sometimes. This can make whatever is going on behind his stony expressions a lot more in the open.

Saber participated in the changeling invasion while serving on the Canterlot royal guard. Like most of his compatriots, he still has a lot of animosity towards the changelings, who are obviously not on good terms with the ponies due to the whole invasion thing and their queen being a bit of a megalomaniac.

He used to really only focus on his work, but meeting Clover, Thrift, and Radiant after being reassigned away from Canterlot has slowly gotten him to open up and relax a bit. Though he does miss his best friend back home, being away from Canterlot, where a lot of bad memories have happened, and his dad lives, has been pretty good for him so far.

Out of the group, he's the closest with Clover, but Radiant and Thrift have managed to worm their way into his heart too. As a group, they're pretty close and work together well. Well, mostly. He and Radiant can get into some pretty big fights at times. Thankfully, Thrift and Clover can be pretty pacifying when they need to be and nothing too serious has ever gone down.

Also, Radiant constantly calls him "Frosty" and other frost-related nicknames. Thrift and Clover usually just call him Saber.

Decided to make a little sheet for my Tav, Divali.

Her name is Divali, she´s a 271 year old high elf, but does not really act like one (more on that in the short backstory if you´re interested)

Divali´s alignment is CHAOTIC NEURAL, because her personality is… questionable.

In short, she's the kind of person who would put an L on her head to show her dominance if she won. A sassy minx and overall short tempered. Don´t get me wrong, she's witty and intelligent, but her actions do not usually look like it unless she thinks it's important.

She's supposed to be a druid, but again, her sense of balance is questionable. Instead of being a force of nature, Divali is just a natural disaster. She has a sense of justice and a feel for the natural weave, but does not care much for it, unless of course it benefits her in the long run.

Her preferred fighting style is close combat, using the stone skin for her strikes and the stone wall to corner or crush her opponents. Wild form is not her favorite, as Divali has an absolute fear of fleas.

Exotic tobacco addiction - if she could, she´d spend every penny on it, luckily there's still some sense left in her brain.

Backstory under the cut..

Divali was born in the Moonwood - up in the north of Faerun, in an elven family with 13 children. Her parents were not really responsible, as her father lost her to a duergar merchant in a card game when she was 10 years old. So that´s how the first 60 years of her life went. She lived in the Underdark and was a mixture of slave and part of the duergar family. Divali had adapted to the peculiarities of the dwarves and thus to their personalities, but as a surface dweller, the Underdark was always a bit boring for her and her curiosity - something her owners did not appreciate. Once, when they were moving from one place to another, Divali looked for an opportunity to see the surface again through an opening and reached the surface. By chance, she found herself near a moonwood druid grove. Due to her connection with nature, she was given the chance to study their way of life, but Divali´s nature and strong will made it difficult for both her and her mentors. She never wore the attire correctly, was harsh and short-tempered, all that from what she was used to for a long time. Eventually, they decided to send her to the Emerald Grove in hopes of learning from the current First Druid. A few others had joined her on this journey, but they eventually stopped when they reached the Moonrise Towers. There they learned of a conflict between Ketheric Thorm and the others (Harpers and Druids of the Emerald Gap). Since the first druid was present, the group stayed for a while. Divali met Halsin there - a young and somewhat feisty druid who enjoyed the company of the others a little too much. When it came to the big battle, they and the group did not stand much of a chance. Divali dove down whenever she could to save their skins, taking some of them with her to possibly save them. Before the curse struck, the party decided to continue on to the Emerald Grove, but Divali already had other plans, as the path to Baldur´s Gate was quite close. So instead of staying with the group, she made her way to Baldur´s Gate. There she opened a potion and herb store with gold she had acquired legally. Divali currently lives in Baldur´s Gate as a shopkeeper, selling potions, herbs and, if it's worth it, homemade poisons.
